Cooper-McCann wins Vacant Property Research Network student paper competition

The Vacant Property Research Network is pleased to announce the recipients of its first student paper competition. The awards recognize two master’s students whose research in a single-authored paper contributes to new knowledge and practice around vacant properties. Patrick Cooper-McCann a student in the M.U.P. program who will be a doctoral candidate later this summer, won an award for his paper, "The Politics of Spatial Targeting: Urban Triage in St. Louis." Amber Knee, a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, was also selected for an award. An interview with Patrick is available on the Vancant Property Research Network website.
